Silver Rush 50: a Glimpse of the Race

A brief takeaway from my first mountain ultra

The perseverance learned on the trail and the race course is not confined to the narrow width of the trail. Lessons learned on the trail permeate throughout daily life. To some, an ultra might seem to be an insurmountable physical feat, but as a man with cerebral palsy, I can say its more about mental toughness and determination than physical strength, but of course both are required.
